CHAPTER

What Does Church Authority Mean?

The church gets her authority from the person of Jesus Christ. Infallibility is a big word and people are like, who actually thinks that anyone's infallible? But we know that God is not capable of making an error because he's God,. And so therefore Jesus is also because he'sGod, he's liable to make an error. It's the church's job to protect this truth of revelation, which is essential for salvation. Sometimes that teaching can get corrupted. We could lose the saving teaching if we didn't have the infallibility of the church.
