Hegel, but What Does He Really Want?
Hegel is not really a philosopher of experience at all. He wants to examine allof the extant theories of experience that he sees out there, and even some that he invents in order to come up with what his own is. But this point is, it's through seeing all these different failures of every other theory that we understand that every theory of experience will fail,. because experience is itself contradictory.
