The Proportion of AI Accidents
As a proportion of the total say AI systems are AI accidents increasing or is it simply because we we have so much more deployed AI systems in the world that we see more examples of accidents. If you just count okay AI made a mistake counts as one then everyone who's texting and it incorrectly corrected you're spelling billion people right there? It depends on them counting self-driving cars making mistakes industrial robots but i don't think there is like this obvious accidents where vacuum cleaner takes out 600 people nothing like that happened. Perhaps we should touch upon the question of which group of people should be respected when we talking about AI safety or which group ofpeople should be listened to, says Professor David Weinberger
