Is Long COVID a Big Healthcare Challenge?
I think there are people who think that I'm sort of way off-piste worrying about long COVID and spending my research time on it. And those kind of attitudes worry me and make me angry because I do think this is an enormous healthcare challenge. So the picture that I've painted at the moment, it's like a lot of COVID, isn't it? We've worked so fast and discovered so much at pace that you feel you know a lot, and yet it's kind of a scattergun of facts here or there. If you ask me to draw the textbook pathway, I'd be a hard place to do it.
