Are Social Media Accounts a Target for Phishing?

Are we seeing a lot of scams come through social media accounts? Because, you know, especially people that aren't in the normal corporate environment, that's what they use a lot of technology for. Is it email that's still the number one kind of target area there or is it all over the board? I, email would be the number one. However, social media is being utilized for things like romance scams where people will create fake profiles and puddle up to somebody. And get them to send them money. A relative of mine was a victim of a romance scam several years ago.
