I Think the Israelis Are Weighing Up Everything
I think the israelis are weighing up everything. They're trying to decide how quickly the arrangers are likely to get to an especially dangerous point in the nuclear programme they have to weigh the risks of military action. And they, above all, have to calculate what s new arab friends in the region and especially america would do to help. The danger, of course, is that the threat of war convinces the hardliners who are now in power in eran that actually what they really need is a nuclear weapon to keep the regime safe. I think that the israeli hope is at the threat of military action, combined with a more robust American diplomatic pain and intensified sanctions
