Myanmar: A National Uprising
The outlook is for things to remain pretty grim for a while in Myanmar, says Ambassador Marcel. Thailand has been supportive of the Hunta because they can keep people from pouring into their borders and need that military's help on some border issues. I think it's short-sighted because I don't see this military being able to govern their under tremendous pressure taking huge casualties.
