A Job Is Someone Doing Something for Someone Else's Spouse
40% of people who retire end up later unretiring. The major reason that they unretire is not earnings. They want a sense of purpose, a sense of meaning and social interaction. I agree with you an hundred %. This work is important and dignified. And i think equalizing all that in terms of status and in terms of pay would actually be a great thing for all of us,. including those of us who were lucky enough to have like these sort of nice, cushy white collar jobs."
