How Many Sets Per Workout Do You Need?

I think ultimately, it's probably possible to add a set here or there and still recover. I was really intrigued. I wanted to see if the additional set would make a positive difference. My routine is incredibly stable, apart from when I'm just trying something at the end of the workout. And so it stays stable for a very long period of time. So that means in a given week, I'm generally hitting somewhere around six or seven sets over the twice week for a four muscles now.
