How to Negotiate With Teachers in Middle School and High School
The school counselor is often a useful source of information and support for caregivers. The other thing would be to ask that counselor to broker a meeting with all the teachers that are on the team of the student. Many of these teams meet together routinely. Having a caregiver meet with them and maybe describe the strengths of their child.
