How to Find the Right Agents for Your Book
The way I came up with the list for agents was that I went to the bookstore and I looked at books that were books that I liked to read. And then I thumbed into the acknowledgments to see who their agents were. So I made a list of agents from that. With Shadow Shaper it was literally just that was the one that I found that accepted non-agented submissions. That's the only one I sent to. Kind of like Harry Potter meets the wire.
