The Book Club Massacre

Mock-knows and his friends try to assassinate the governor of Ukraine. They get caught by another patrol of Cossacks, but they manage to escape. Mock-knows spends a bunch of time in solitary confinement in a cell called the Hole. The police considered mock-know to be the most dangerous of the young men that they'd actually caught. He sneaks back into Ukraine with two loaded revolvers before he flees to Belgium where he kills an officer who was stalking him at a play.
