I think that there's ways that you can draw boundaries in terms of how you work. I didn't take a salary for two years because I wanted to invest in building the team from a consulting perspective and bring on really strong advisors. "It was a very bad decision for me to do this early days," he says about not paying himself simultaneously as he built his own business.
