Detecting Anomalies With Machine Learning

Reg: You can't just turn this on and then see what happens, because there's so much stuff coming out. But we think that using some new techniques from like machine learning and anomaly detection, it might be possible to figure out if there's something new in our data - even if we don't know exactly what to look for. We need to be sort of more clever about how to look for things to be ready for surprises. It's all about understanding what the current theory predicts so we can find deviations from it.
