Is There an Increase in Non Game VCs?

There seems to be increased interest from regular, non game v cs in games as service companies. Do you recommend founders stay away from these as investment sources? I think there are a lot of generalist funds that are investing in games and they're fine as investors. The best time to take someone else's money is never right. If you can do what you need to do without taking external funding then more power to you.
