The Pros and Cons of Being a Professional Artist

In grade 11, you start to think about maybe there's something in this art field. When did you apply a professional's mindset? Maybe you weren't professional yet, but you just started to dedicate yourself and to study more. And each time I always had the impression of, oh, I'm going to be serious now and do more. So I always thought I was being more professional, but I guess it wasn't until ... four or five years that I could say I was doing real work.
