Purgatorial Seeking in Purgatory
In purgatory seeking is to understand yourself in all the corners, crevices and terms. It's not so much to change oneself but to discover deeper truths about oneself. This is what seeking is like in purgatory. Very interestingly seeking continues in the heavens, in paradise for Dante,. But it's got such a different quality again, because this is seeking as a kind of celebration. Now suffering too is experienced very, very differently in the different realms.
