Is the BBC Trying to Stop Freelance Presenters From Speaking Out?

Gavin Lineker has been doing that for ages, he's been doing it for years. He's not as if he's had a quick turn round and got all political or humanitarian. The commentators are the ones who actually could find their opportunities limited. I will continue to worry about their space. Quite rightly, the pundits don't need it. And those others that came out in support, they're still going to be in our kind of thought process about what we do later on down the line. So I think this support needs to continue because it may not impact on the highest figures, but it could definitely impact on those who we don't normally see from the center of our screens.
