Introduction

Last week i misread and misinterpreted the material when taking notes for last week's episode. The pantheon was indeed first built by agrippa in 28 b c, and subsequently gutted by a fire in 88. But when it was rebuilt, in one 26 a d, the construction was done by the emperor hadrian, not the emperor trajan. And the blue prints were not set to agrippa's original specifications, but rather, new plans drawn up that some have attributed to hadrian himself. I'm not sure how exactly i managed to swing and miss so badly on my facts, but i did.
