The Effects of Light Loads on Strength

There's a thing, as you know, of course, the length tension relationship. So if the muscles vary long, can't produce as much force when it's sort of 90 degrees, you produce a lot. And then when it's short, you can't produce much. So I guess if it's harder, when it's longer, it makes sense, therefore, that you would get greater adaptations. Is it, or is it? We're not sure mechanistically, but there are other potential avenues whereby the passive tension might be involved.
