Coal is the yetter story I have to cover on this podcast. It's proving very hard to find someone who wants to talk about it publicly. The Chinese keep building coal-fired power plants because even if they're only used for 10-20% operating rate over the course of the year, they are there in case the variable supply from renewable sources including hydro power is inadequate. We could very well find ourselves in a coal-like situation where we haven't invested the way we need to.
