I never had any money growing up. So I'd like make these paper fake portfolios and lost a ton of money. It was probably so good that that's how I started. Because I had no idea what I was doing. And it's basically like, oh, that company seems cool. I'll buy the fake stock in this like simulation game. What did I mess up? The stocks down 40%. That's kind of how I learned investing. But it was good to just have a fake portfolio. We get upset at other people for how they're navigating through the world. Sometimes it's just because we don't have the context of the game they're actually playing.
