The dominant vision in most people's minds of how manufacturing works is the like, I love Lucy, like chocolate conveyor belt mode, right? You're doing this one discrete task and you need to do it thousands, tens of thousands of times a day. And then sometimes that conveyor belt speeds up. Well, you have to speed up too, right? And like, that's just how manufacturing works. There's a reason why this is why our dominant visions of how manufacturing happens are so dominantly capitalist.
