Do you think the Democratic Party just doesn't want to end the filibuster because they would rather not live in that world where they have to actually try to pass policies? You know, I hear this a lot. It's sort of conspiratorial sense that like, you know, the Democrats like having minimal majorities in order to prevent having to do anything in that way. "I believe Nancy Pelosi wants to pass some bills," he says. But she is also fabulously wealthy and isn't hurt by it when we can't get anything done.
