I've Been Biting My Tongue During This Debate
I thank jim for qualifying his previous remarks about honesty and integrity. I agree that often there is too much hip, in particular about string theory. Even supersymmetry actually does have some applications in condensed metaphysics. So it is true that these ideas don't have any empirical evidence at the fundamental physics but i think hat they can give us interesting insights into other areas of physics.
