How to Deal With the Cost of Defending Yourself
You can ensure the safety of your defense if you hold only positions that cannot be attacked. The spot where we intend to fight must not be made known for then the enemy will have to prepare against a possible attack at several different points. You don't want to let the enemy know where you're going to attack them because then he can defend that specific area. We did that really well in World War II, the D-Day. So they had a lot of defenses strewn about in other areas. If he sends reinforcements everywhere, he will be everywhere weak.
