The Importance of Working for a Spouse
Many founders work with a spouse or a partner. What are your thoughts on this? Good idea, bad idea or tricky idea? It's never easy. Company is not your own. It's not your fiefdom. We all work for the institution. The institution is larger than any one person or any one family. If you're building an institution that has a potential to be around for a hundred years, I would say you've got to work for the company. Even though you are the founder, owner, CEO and may have 100% ownership of the company it doesn't matter. You still are an employee of the company.
