The Great Grandfather of Sports Journalism Grant Wall
Musa says he grew up admiring the work of Grant Wall. The late sports journalist was a trendsetter and someone that created community wherever he went, Musa says. According to his former editor Chris Stone he wrote his first SI cover story at age 25. By age 28 he was writing about LeBron James who was then a junior in high school as you mentioned LeBron pay tribute to him the other night.
