The pentagon says that china's nuclear arsenal might expand to about a thousand warheads by 20 30. That would be an arsenal that is still smaller than america or russia, but it would be much bigger than india's. The other problem is also if the chinese arsenal becomes much more technically sophisticated as well as being very big.
