The Fourth Piece of the Pie, Multi-Threading

Volt does what's called command logging or transaction logging, which is wildly more efficient at run time than data logging. All modern OLTP systems use replication to produce high availability. So the only time you actually go down is if you have a cluster wide disaster like a power failure. And so that leaves you with the fourth piece of the pie, which is multi-threading.
