The Second Second Principle Is Really Interesting

The Miller's Law which is a design principle that I try to use when whenever I design something. Human can on average hold up to seven objects in their working memory meaning whenever you display information you want to keep that in mind. Netflix has really designed their home page in a way that each category would only have six movies so they've understood that it doesn't make sense to show to show the user more than six or seven movies because they won't remember them anyway. Spotify also thought about this how do we best structure our our homepage in a ways that people remember what they're seeing and and make better actions based on the information they're seeing.
