The Evolution of Matsutake in Yunnan Province

Matsutake is a mushroom that doesn't really like the tropics, it likes more of a temperate climate. So there are a number of mushrooms that actually grow near it that look almost identical but none of them have this smell. Different insects or you know, slugs have also kind of honed in on so that it's part of the multi-species competitive hunting that goes on.
