How to Attract the Right People

I want this organization to be around for a long, long time. And I think what has worked, you have to tell people, this is important to me and not assume that they would think the same or that they would know that it's important to you. It's about intent and recognizing that sometimes we just don't get things wrong and let's compassionately learn together. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves as leaders to hold that perfect standard knowing that it's not possible for any of us. The last thing you want is for the first time that your team, who you talk about, a potentially sensitive or difficult topic or a topic that requires compassionate attention.
