The Importance of a Competitive Outlet

I always need something I can be super competitive about and when I don't have that proper outlet it gets channeled in all the wrong ways. For some people chess is life and then Everything becomes sort of centered around chess And that's okay too, but you really need to know where are you on this scale so to speak. So for instance if I went once a month on a weekend chess tournament I think my wife would ask for divorce. It's good But Is it that important? No, not to me Some people would make make a different priority Uh, but I think it's important to be honest there to to find that balance.
