Is the World Not Getting Better?

In China, for example, the Chinese people knew that their lives were getting better when they went from eating meat once a year to having it available every single day. And I think that that's emblematic of exactly what you're saying, right? It's that that's the standard of living has gone up. And if it starts to go down, it doesn't have to get to the fact that we're all going to be just as good as it wants. People will not be having it. We are not built to survive negative growth or like reduced real life experience in ways people feel.
