The song part of this is really lovely the original lyrics started out with the line planets meeting face-to-face Which I think is pretty cool, but they decided they want to move away from the sci-fi reputation They'd built up for themselves and they changed it to be about oceans instead. The imagery is really nice and Rick and Dave always sounded wonderful singing together their voices are really similar. And there's a section where instead of a choir you just there's just this long stretch of Right in Gilmore just like wordlessly harmonizing and falsetto and it's just gorgeous.
