A key product decision was delivering a normalized ski back, which is a little bit. like in the weeds of data stuff. A denormalized schema that works for one company is not going to work for another company. Because of this, every ETL tool ever made was highly customizable so that everyone could have a different Schema. And then after a couple of years it started to really work well and we got this QA economy of scale.
