The Evolution of Engineering in Spain

In Spain, they're very proud of being engineers. The former mayor of Madrid was called the pharaoh because he just liked to build stuff and we look at Ireland and our inability to build anything. When you when you arrive in Spain, the infrastructure is outrageously modern. So explain that to me, what's going on there? I know you're from Cork, but you don't have to rub it in.
