How to Be Self-Custodial in Bitcoin

Do you think there are certain thresholds above which is difficult to be self custodial? In a consistent high fee environment, it always makes sense to open a lightning channel if you're making multiple Bitcoin transaction. Christian: We as a Bitcoin community have a tendency of blaming or shaming the user, choosing a custodial solution over an on-custodial solution. But we also have to see that custodial options often are easier to use because well, they don't have all of that complexity behind it.
