I think you also have to understand that each piece of writing has its own life. So even if let's say you wrote something you are ultimately disappointed in yourself. That has no relationship to the next thing you're right like everything is written in different circumstances. I've written lots of things where I was like, oops, that didn't work. But it doesn't mean the thing I'm working on now doesn't work. You just got to keep packing at it.
