The Unity of the Church

God reconciled his image bearers, now enemies through our rebellion to him and to each other through the death of Jesus. That's the hardest thing God will ever do. Compared to that, everything else is going to be like a cinch. Some people have said that the unity of the church is achieved by the church replacing Israel. I don't think that's right. What he's saying is that Israel and the nations through the deathof Jesus have been pulled together into one new humanity,. One new man, the last Adam.
