The Heart of Our Collection of Early Modern Portraiture
Heva has one of the best public, privately owned collections of early modern portraiture outside of the national portrait gallery. But i do think that the heart of our collection are anne's books. We may not have the replies from henry, but we do have her words in those books. And she wanted to be remembered. I mean, one of them is explicitly asking us to remember her. They are ite extraordinary to experience in person. They're the high light of my day every time i see them.
