Sonda's Death Was the Result of a Horrific Accident During Hazing
Sonda was one of the two black students in the whole 77 long history of the fraternity and he died, you would think that people would care, right? Five years passed and somehow the 18 men who stood by and subjected him to the torture continued to evade justice. News spread about the black pledge that had died at the hands of 18 white men, but the news articles never mentioned race. They chalked his death up to a horrible accident that occurred during hazing. The school did state that they will be holding an internal disciplinary hearing for the members of the incident.
