Is the Stabilizer Trim Set Right?

Flight crew recorded on the cockpet voice recorder showed that the stabilizer trim was set during the taxi out at two point five units nose up, which is the appropriate value for the trim setting and centre of gravity. But one, their cargo was heavier than they were told. Two, it was much more aft than they were telling. If they had been given these appropriate numbers, they could have reset the trim, which is why on take off, you hear the trim motor alarm going off,. The plane's trying to pitch up because of the weight. And so they're having to adjust the trim as they're taking off, when it should have been set. It's just maddening
