Sixth Grade Drawings Aren't Sixth Graders
Jesse Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail for filing false police reports after his infamous MAGA country news subway sandwich beating that never happened. He served six of those days before being released pending his appeal and he's been out ever since. His lawyers argue the trial judge made a series of reversible errors, which should have been disallowed by the court. This appeal argues Illinois law does not allow the police department to be considered a victim and therefore restitution should be overturned as well. I don't see information here about the next date, next court date for his appeal. But it won't stop assaulting me.
