Is the Wave Function a Thing Out There?

The question of what the wave function is i sort of part of the controversy here, and part of what's at stake? We'll see if we get past this one question ind the ho, exactly. Yesn i'm not. I mean, there's therher i wasn't kidding when i said that. It's just that in the most simple way imaginable. Because wave functions, i mean, like the name sort of implies the way functions wave behave in ways that we actually tend to associate with physical objects.
