The Distancing of Time From Nature
You explore how language describing how we tell time even as simply as the use of o'clock referring to of the clock signals a supposed domination of clock time over the living world. You also write an abstract grid onto a decidedly diverse landscape which in turn contributed along with many other factors to the distancing of a relationship with the live world. The notion of time as measurable, countable, interchangeable that is measured in hours and minutes doesn't have anything necessarily to do with when they're happening or where they're happening.
