The Song, How Can I Keep From Singing?
Lyrics are surprisingly appropriate considering all that israel has just gone through. They've been feeling a lot of that with pharaoh pursuing them. There's something visceral, something so deep, where you just break out in full on song. The same idea echoing bean repeated and glorying over one's enemy? We don't do that quite so much in our poetry any more,. I mean iliad or gentler day, i hope. But that was common at the time period. And you're see some of that here when we come to play guets.
