The Joker's Wishful Actions

I almost felt like this movie was the wish fulfillment of Travis Bickle. And then the third act and his actions, he wanted you to root against what he was doing. It's a movie made by an angry comedian who doesn't feel that he's been justified in this world too. I think when he goes on that show, we're excited for him to go on that show and see what he's going to do as opposed to writing it or wishing Robert De Niro would live Or wishing he'd come to his senses.
