The Role of the Leader in the Organization
It's the role of participants to also speak up when they feel that theyare not being hurt, right? Because everyone has to play their role. And in order to play it, they have to have a set of skills that many people don't have. They have to have the skills of how could i disagree without being abrasive? How could i give feedback without attacking? These are complex skills. They never used to be required in organizations. And now they're required, not just by the leader, but by members. As yet, i think that's why research on emotional intelligence shows that's highly preductive of success. We tan to take for granted high important those skills.
